Eligibility, Mode of Selection & Further Details of Military Nursing Course

Nursing is one of the important parts of Military services. Indian Army issues notification every year for admission in to the courses. Selected candidates will be admitted into B.Sc (Nursing), Diploma in general nursing and midwifery courses. The candidates for B.Sc (Nursing) shall be trained at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. The candidates selected for Diploma in general nursing and midwifery shall be trained at all Armed Forces Hospitals throughout India. After completion of the nursing course the candidates should assign a bond for working at Military Hospitals for a period of four or five years. Course completion certificates shall be issued by the Military Nursing Services Commission.


ELIGIBILITY:

The candidates should have passed Intermediate ( Bipc) at first attempt with 50 percent of marks. (or) should have GNM with SSC and five years of experience in the service.

Age Limit: Should be the age of 17 to 25 years.

Un-married, Divorced and Widows are eligible.

Mode of Selection: Selection will be in three stages. First is the written test which will be held in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, General Intelligence within the time of 90 minutes. Second is interview and the third is medical test. Candidates shall be called for interview on merit basis and the selected candidates have to get medical test for admission in to course.
